agreed, but my point is that your write-up talks about "outlook" which is the email package which is part of Microsoft Office, which does not use dbx files as far as I am aware. The email client that does use dbx files is called "outlook express" (and comes with Windows XP out of the box), i just wanted to avoid people wasting time. 8-))
